The dimos will change in districts like Apokoroas, Chania, Selino....and the goverment will be selected by voting. The only thing you have to do is to register on the voting list in your dimos.

Emission card: we would like to inform you that from 02.05.2009 you are all intitled to have the specific card which notifies that all fumes have been checked according to the vehicles being used. This legislation is obligatory due to the municipalities of Crete and the ministry of transportation.

This checks should be done from nowon. In the prefecture od Chania it is different. the depends from the last nummber on your plate: starting with 0 in may, 1 in june and so on....  to 9 in january 2010.
